In a statement, defence minister Gerald Howarth said the agenda for the Defence Forum in Jakarta was "yet to be finalised."
The Times allege that the Indonesian government had made an informal approach to buy as many as 24 Typhoon jets, twelve years after defence exports to the country were banned amid allegations that British-built jets had been used to bomb civilians.
